Project Development Manager

Seneca Environmental is seeking a Project Development Manager to support our team. We are building out our renewable energy project development team and are looking for an experienced leader with hands-on project development experience that can add hands-on project development capacity immediately and support the training and build-out of our team over the coming months and years.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years or more of renewable energy project development experience. We are looking for people who have hands-on experience with the full development cycle of behind-the-meter and in-front-of-the-meter solar and battery storage projects. Tasks will include project management, site analysis and origination work, project valuation, overseeing engineering and design, subcontractor selection and oversight, project certification, and operations. Experience with deploying microgrid systems and electric vehicle supply equipment is a plus.

Tribal Business Development Research Intern

Seneca Environmental is seeking a Tribal Business Development Research Intern to support our team who is centered in Tribal justice, equity and historical healing, clean energy, and new economic models. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, flexible, sees this arena as part of their future expertise, and embodies a sincere sense of urgency for scaling climate solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research in the Tribal arena on social justice, clean energy, economic models, and other related areas of significance to Tribes. They will have a grounded presence with Tribal members and should also have experience working in and or an interest in moving into the clean energy field.

Duties for this role will include conducting Tribal clean energy research, outreach to Tribal Nations, and drafting educational and informational materials for Tribal Nations.
